Assisted in bringing a high-end fitness solution to MVP. Developed for a high-end IoT “mirror” which is installed in a client’s home, the solution includes a webRTC video connection between personal trainer and client, as well as pre-recorded workout sessions. Worked as a sole developer to integrate new functionality into the client’s existing e-commerce platform (Lightspeed) via Chrome and Firefox browser plugins.  Added an employee time tracker, built a “dealer marketplace” system for out-of-stock inventory and added a Plivo-based text messaging interface for local dealer shops to communicate with clients.  The e-commerce extensions I built worked similarly to a headless CMS (because I built them to use a REST-based API).  (Node/Express, React, browser plugins, AWS, Redis, PostgreSQL, E-commerce integration, API Development/Integration)

Brought on as a senior full-stack developer to work on a startup’s system for managing secure facilities (door sensors, access schedules, etc.)  Took over from a previous developer’s abandoned and non-functional code, and brought the system to MVP in a single year.  Personally recruited another back-end developer, and helped guide the front-end developer (who started about three months into the project) in designing and integrating his work.  (Node, Angular/React, Postgres)

Helped to build version 2.0 of a “family tree” website.  Originally developed in AngularJS, we migrated to the Angular 2 beta as soon as it was released in December of 2015.  (AngularJS, Angular, Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch)

Many miscellaneous projects over the years including a Mapbox-based shipping map and real-time chat system for a UK shipping company, an AWS Sitewise integration with simulated IoT devices which populates a fully custom real-time dashboard, a geospatial tool for assigning the correct neighborhoods to real estate listings, maintenance and enhancement of a “book club” website, a series of real estate web sites built on Joomla, complete with RETS/IDX integration, multiple custom WordPress plugins (with advanced custom fields, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, etc.), and much more.
